PEORIA, Ill. - With deteriorating weather forecasted for Central Illinois this weekend, Bradley and Evansville have agreed to alter the schedule for this weekend's Missouri Valley Conference softball series at lower Laura Bradley Park.

The series now is slated to begin with a doubleheader at 1:30 p.m. Friday and will conclude with a single game Saturday at noon.  The defending Valley postseason tournament champion, Bradley (9-11) will open its 2010 league schedule Friday against the Purple Aces.  Evansville (5-11, 0-2 MVC) opened its conference schedule Wednesday by dropping both ends of a doubleheader at Southern Illinois.

Admission to Bradley Softball games at Laura Bradley Park in West Peoria is free.  Live stats, free audio streams and subscription video streams of all three games in the weekend series will be available through Bradley's official athletic department website, BradleyBraves.com.
