PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Hall of Famer Dave Snell will provide play-by-play for the Bradley women's basketball team's Women's Basketball Invitational quarterfinal matchup at College of Charleston on 1290 AM WIRL. Snell will call the action for Sunday's 2 p.m. (eastern)/1 p.m. (central) contest against the Cougars from Carolina First Arena. In addition, a free video stream will be available on the College of Charleston website (www.cofcsports.com).
The Braves (17-13 overall) advanced to the WBI quarterfinals with a 69-59 opening round win at Louisville Wednesday night in the first postseason contest in program history. Junior Raisa Taylor collected 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the second half to help highlight the victory. She finished with 21 points, 10 boards, six assists, three rejections and two steals.
Snell, who was inducted into the Bradley Hall of Fame earlier this year, finished up his 31st year as the radio voice of Bradley men's basketball. He has participated in 952 consecutive Bradley men's basketball game broadcasts.
