NEWBURGH, Ind. - Sophomore Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) carded a three-over par 75 Tuesday in the final round of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Championship and tied for fifth in the final standings to pace the Bradley women's golf team to an eighth-place finish.  The Braves matched their opening round total with a third-round score of 319 to finish with a 54-hole total of 960 at the par-72 Rolling Hills Country Club.

Amundrud fired a final-round 75 to close out play tied with Missouri State's Catherine Dolan for fifth place at 227.  Her performance helped land her spot on the All-Missouri Valley Conference squad and she was joined by junior Breanne Neufeld (Coaldale, Alberta/Kate Andrews) on the All-Valley team which was announced following Tuesday's third round.  The duo are the first all-conference selections for BU since Whitney Cox and Bari Erais both earned all-conference honors in 2008.

Neufeld turned in a final round 80 and finished in a tie for 28th place in the standings at 242.  Her final round 80 gave her a 76.1 stroke average to finish the season, breaking the Bradley season stroke average previously held by Meaghan LeBlanc.  Neufeld's 76.1 average surpassed LeBlanc's mark of 76.62 set during the 2005-06 season.  Amundrud finished the year with a 76.64 stroke average, finishing one shot shy of also surpassing LeBlanc's season record. Her 76.64 stoke average ranks as the third best season total in school history.

Drake's Olivia Lansing took medalist honors, shooting a 72 to finish at three-over par 219.  Lansing finished three shots ahead of Illinois State's Laura Harris, who was second at 222.

Junior Caitlin Deeken (California, Mo./California) finished out play with a final-round 86 to finish two shots behind Neufeld (244) in a tie for 33rd, while sophomore Erin Gorman (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) shot her best round of the tournament with a third-round 82 to close out play in 45th place at 251.  Freshman Natalie Wisniewski (Williamsville, N.Y./South) also turned in her best round of the tournament with a final round 82 and was 48th overall at 258.

Illinois State won its third consecutive team title, finishing 14 shots ahead of Drake with a team score of 909.  The Bulldogs were second in the standings at 923, while Indiana State was third at 934.  Northern Iowa finished fourth at 938 and was followed by Missouri State (5th - 942).

Wichita State (6th - 951) edged out Southern Illinois (7th - 954) for sixth place.  Bradley was six shots back in eighth place (960) and the Braves held an eight shot edge on ninth-place finisher Creighton (968).  Evansville completed the field in 10th place at 1003.
