MAINESVILLE, Ohio -- Former Bradley men's golf standout Chris Kamin finished ninth at last week's Chiquita Classic at the TPC River's Bend, marking his career-best finish in a Nationwide Tour event.  Kamin's previous best finish on the Nationwide Tour came in May of 2008 when he tied for 19th at the Fort Smith Classic.

Kamin, who finished second on the money list on the 2009 Gateway Tour, has played in each of the last three Nationwide Tour events and improved his finish in each of those outings.  He tied for 65th at the Mexico Open Bicentenary in late June and tied for 47th at the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic which concluded July 11th.

During last week's play at the Chiquita Classic, Kamin opened up play with rounds of 67 and 69 to make the cut for the third consecutive tournament.  He wrapped up play with consecutive rounds of 66 to finish ninth overall.  Kamin's four-round total of 268 was seven shots behind Tommy Gainey's tournament-winning total of 261.

Kamin is expected to play in this week's Children's Hospital Invitational Nationwide Tour event in Columbus, Ohio, which begins Thursday.
