PEORIA, Ill. - The Bradley men's and women's tennis teams will offer youth clinics for elementary and middle school children starting Aug. 23 and running through Oct. 6.  Bradley men's tennis head coach Jesse Plote and women's tennis head coach Scott Petersen will serve as instructors with sessions for three different groups depending on age and experience.

Clinics will be held Monday's and Wednesday's throughout the fall on campus at the Markin Tennis Courts.  Children aged 6-8 are invited to learn the fundamentals of tennis with many games and fun exercises Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6 p.m. The Challenger group is for 8-14 year-old children and will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m., with instruction focusing on proper techniques. More experienced players (under the age of 14) will have a chance to work on techniques and strategies during Monday and Wednesday night sessions during the same 6-7 p.m. time slot.
