PEORIA, Ill. -- First-year Bradley women's golf head coach Mary Moan will make her BU coaching debut this weekend, when the Braves open their 2010-11 fall schedule Saturday and Sunday at the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Ill.  The Braves will play 36 holes Saturday and conclude play Sunday with one round at the par-71 Weibring Golf Club.

Moan's roster features two seniors, two juniors, one sophomore and one freshman.  Helping headline a group which boasts a combined 11 years of collegiate experience are two 2009-10 First-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference performers in senior Breanne Neufeld (Coaldale, Alberta/Kate Andrews) and junior Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir).

A team co-captain this season, Neufeld ranked third in the MVC with a school season-record 76.1 stroke average and posted six top 10 finishes.  Neufeld ranks fourth in school history with 46 career rounds in the 70's and also ranks among BU's career leaders in stroke average.

Amundrud earned First-Team All-Valley honors as a sophomore after tying for fifth at last year's State Farm MVC Championship.  Her 76.6 stroke average in 2009-10 ranks as the third-best season total in school history and she enters her junior year with eight career top 10 finishes to her credit.

Senior Caitlin Deeken (California, Mo./California) will serve as a co-captain in her final year.  Deeken is 10th in school history with 27 career rounds in the 70's and also ranks among Bradley's top 15 in career stroke average heading into her final season on The Hilltop.

Junior Erin Gorman (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) is a two-time letterwinner for the Braves and sophomore Natalie Wisniewski (Williamsville, N.Y./South) ranked fourth in stroke average in 2009-10 and earned the #2 spot in BU's lineup in qualifying for the season-opening Redbird Invitational this weekend.

Joining the experienced squad is freshman Ali Daly (Peosta, Iowa/ Western Dubuque), who was a three-time all-state selection and helped her team to an eight-place state finish as a senior.

The Braves have five tournaments on the slate this fall, including this weekend's Redbird Invitational.  Bradley heads to Madison, Wis., for the Badger Invitational (Sept. 26 & 27), before heading to the Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis (Oct. 4 & 5).  The Payne Stewart Memorial in Springfield, Mo., will be held Oct. 18 & 19, before BU concludes the fall with the Richmond Invitational Nov. 1 & 2 in Richmond, Va.
