EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Junior midfielder Bryan Gaul (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley H.S.) scored a pair of first half goals, helping Bradley (3-1-1) bounce back from its first loss of the season with a 7-1 victory versus Alabama A&M (0-4-0) Sunday afternoon in the ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic at McCutchan Stadium.

Alabama A&M, which had won the previous two meetings in its series against Bradley, got off the game's first shot before the Braves took control en route to their most lopsided win since a 7-0 victory against Drury Sept. 12, 2003.  The seven goals matched Bradley's single-game program record, equaling the mark originally set in a 7-6, overtime victory versus Illinois-Chicago Sept. 5, 1992 and matched in the 2003 game versus Drury.

Sophomore Jochen Graf (Double Oak, Texas/Faustina Academy) put the Braves on the board in the seventh minute when he finished off a breakaway for his second goal of the year at 6:21.  Keith Mach (Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South H.S.) and Toni Ramadani (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S.) were credited with assists on the early strike.

Gaul scored Bradley's next two goals, the first by finishing off a feed from freshman Jason Coon (Charleston, Ill./Charleston H.S.) from 10 yards out in the ninth minute and the second with a chip shot over the Bulldogs keeper from 12 yards out in the 23rd minute.  Mach received credit for his second assist of the day after feeding Gaul.

By the end of the first period, Bradley owned an 11-2 shots advantage.  Using 21 players in the game, Bradley finished the day with a 28-5 advantage in shots, as well as 11-0 corner kicks margin.

The Braves kept up the pressure in the second half and added two more goals in the 64th and 65th minutes.  Ramadani did the honors at 63:33 with a short, 5-yard shot off helpers from Christian Meza (Carperntersville, Ill./Dundee-Crown H.S.) and Ross Williams (Fort Collins, Colo./Rocky Mountain H.S.), while Meza got in on the scoring party just 1-minute, 13-seconds later by stealing the ball from a Bulldogs defender and netting his first goal of the year with an 8-yard blast at 64:46.

In his first career appearance for the Braves, junior midfielder Luke Wasylik (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee H.S.) scored on his first career shot when he ran onto Chris Minor's (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville H.S.) feed through the Alabama A&M defense and finished off a 10-yard shot at 76:31 for a 6-0 lead.

The Bulldogs avoided the shutout 27 seconds later when Abraham Kassaye ripped a 25-yard shot into the top right corner past Bradley reserve keeper Jim Schultz (Kenosha, Wis./Racine St. Catherine's H.S.).

Bradley completed the game's scoring in the 83rd minute when freshman forward Wojciech Wojcik (Elmwood Park, Ill./Elmwood Park H.S.) netted his second goal of the year with an 8-yard rocket off a feed from Marcus Schademann (Lincoln, Neb./St. Pius X H.S.).

Having already completed more than a quarter of its regular-season schedule, Bradley will make its 2010 home debut next weekend by hosting Dartmouth, SMU and Creighton in the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic at Shea Stadium.  After Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton will play the first game of each day, Bradley will take on Ivy League power Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m. Friday, then will close out the tournament by taking on perennial national power SMU at 2:30 Sunday afternoon.

NOTE:  Gaul and Williams were named to the ProRehab Aces Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team
