PEORIA, Ill. -- A record number 19 Bradley women's basketball games will be broadcast in the Peoria area during the upcoming 2010-11 season announced recently by JMP Radio Group, LLC.  The Braves will have a total of 18 games on 1290 AM WIRL with the Nov. 19 home game against Illinois scheduled to air on 1470 AM WMBD.

Bradley women's basketball games have been broadcast on 1470 WMBD since 1998 with a package which has fluctuated between four and seven games annually.  The expanded package will include eight home games and 11 road dates.  Ed Hammond has been a part of JMP's coverage since the 2002-03 season and will provide play-by-play for all 19 contests.  He will be joined by Bradley Athletics Hall of Famer Joe Stowell, who will serve as analyst on Bradley Women's Basketball broadcasts.

"We are very grateful to Mike Wild (JMP Senior Vice President and General Manager) and JMP Radio Group for their continued support of Bradley women's basketball," head coach Paula Buscher said.  "This is a wonderful opportunity for our fans to stay connected with our team and I look forward to working with Ed (Hammond) and Coach Stowell throughout the year."

The Braves return nine of 12 letterwinners, including three starters from last year's team which made the first postseason appearance in school history.  Bradley finished the 2009-10 season with a 17-14 overall record and tied for third in the Missouri Valley Conference after tying a school record for conference victories with a 12-6 league mark.

Season tickets for the 2010-11 women's basketball campaign are $75 for the general public and $30 for Bradley faculty and staff and currently available for purchase at the new arena Box Office (1601 W. Main Street).

Bradley announced a Personal Seat Option ticket plan for all events in the new arena in May and a maximum 500 seats in the plan.  Individual PSO's in the arena's main seating bowl are available for $500 each, while PSO Gold seats on the arena floor are available for $1,000 each.  A PSO, which includes women's basketball and volleyball season tickets, allows the owner the opportunity to purchase tickets for all events, excluding commencement ceremonies, in the new arena from Aug. 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011 in the same seats.  In addition to the volleyball and women's basketball games, events available in the PSO plan to date include the Midnight Madness basketball event Oct. 15, Jay Leno's Oct. 16 Homecoming performance, the Oct. 24 Red-White Scrimmage and the Nov. 6 men's basketball exhibition versus Quincy.
