PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley women's golf team will travel north to Madison, Wis., for the 2010 Badger Invitational at the par-72 University Ridge Golf Course Sunday and Monday.  The trip to the Badger state is the Braves' first since the 1993-94 season, when BU played in the Lady Badger Invitational in Madison, Wis.

Play begins Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and will include two rounds on the opening day.  Monday's final round is slated for an 8 a.m. shotgun start.  Live scoring for the tournament will be available at www.golfstat.com

Tournament-host Wisconsin is one of 11 teams in the field, which also includes Augusta State, Bucknell, Drake, Georgetown, Iowa, North Dakota State, SMU, UTEP and Xavier.

The Braves are coming off a season-opening sixth-place finish in the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Ill., earlier this month.  Junior Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) posted her ninth career top-10 finish, shooting a final round 75 to tie for eighth (230) in the field at the Redbird Invite.

Senior Breanne Neufeld  (Coaldale, Alberta/Kate Andrews) carded a final-round 77 to finish tied for 11th at 233, missing a top 10 finish by two shots.  The duo of Amundrud and Neufeld have been the Braves top two finishers in four consecutive tournaments and nine of the last 11 outings overall.
