Box Score CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Despite turning in a solid defensive effort on the road, Bradley couldn't keep pace with league-leading Northern Iowa after shooting a season-low 19.2 percent from the field in a 58-34 loss Saturday afternoon at the McLeod Center.

Northern Iowa (15-5 overall, 8-1 MVC) entered the game averaging 79.0 points per game in its three outings and the Panthers matched their season-low with 58 points, but turnovers and a poor shooting night resulted in the lowest scoring output of the season for Bradley (10-10 overall, 3-6 MVC).

Bradley trailed 8-7 after a put-back basket by Raisa Taylor at the 14:32 mark, but UNI outscored the Braves 13-1 over the next four minutes and closed the period with a 27-7 run to take a 35-14 lead into the half.  BU committed 15 first-half turnovers and shot just 20.8 percent (5-for-24) in the first half, including just two field goals in the final 14:30 of period.

The Panthers pushed the lead to as many as 24 points in the early moments of the second half, before back-to-back baskets by Yohn and Taylor cut the deficit to 44-24.  That would be as close as Bradley would get, however, as UNI picked up its seventh consecutive win with the 58-34 victory.

Yohn highlighted the second half for the Braves, scoring nine of her team-leading 11 points in the final 20 minutes and tied a career-best with eight rebounds.  Bradley outrebounded the Panthers 45-44 and limited UNI to 33.9 percent shooting; but finished with 25 turnovers and made just 10 field goals in the contest.

Lizzie Boeck paced Northern Iowa with 16 points, eight boards, three blocks and two steals, while Jacqui Kalin joined her in double figures with 13 points.

Bradley continues a three-game Missouri Valley road swing Friday with a 7:05 p.m. game at Missouri State.  Friday's game against the Bears will be broadcast in the Peoria area on 1290 AM WIRL.
