SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A trio of Braves are tied for 23rd after two rounds of play and the Bradley women's golf team is seventh in the standings following 36 holes at the 12th Payne Stewart Memorial Monday.

Senior Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) and the freshmen duo of Christie Lin (Calgary, Alberta/Sir John G Diefenbaker) and Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) paced BU on the opening day of play, finishing Monday's action tied for 23rd at 158.

Amundrud rebounded from a first-round 82 to card a four-over par 76 in the afternoon's second round.  Lin was the only Bradley player to shoot in the 70's in the morning, firing an opening round 78 and matched Amundrud after a second round 80.  Hedemann's first round 80 was followed with a 78 in the second round as the trio will begin Tuesday's final round one shot out of the top 20.

Sophomore Cassandra Marschall (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield/Wisconsin-Green Bay) turned in rounds of 84 and 81 to close the day tied for 41st at 165, while senior Erin Gorman (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) is tied for 54th (172) after scores of 87 and 85 to close out the scoring for the Braves.

Tournament-host Missouri State is atop the leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 608 and holds a five-shot edge on second-place UMKC (613).  Houston Baptist is 13 shots behind the Bears in third at 621 with Indiana State following in fourth at 626.  South Dakota State and Drury are tied for fifth at 628 and own an 11-shot advantage on Bradley, which finished the day in seventh (639).
