TULSA, Okla. - The Bradley doubles pair of Sarah Rodefeld and Carly Miles earned a first-round victory in the main draw at the USTA/ITA Central Regional Championships Friday at the Case Tennis Center.
Rodefeld and Miles opened Friday's doubles action with an 8-4 win against the Arkansas State duo of Howey/Fung before suffering an 8-0 loss to the ninth-seeded Oklahoma State pair of Blefins/Jeremiah. In the bottom half of the bracket, the Bradley combo of Adele Henke and Corey Mattson fell to the Arkansas State team of Heeps-Eriksen/Slijecefik, 8-2, in the first round.
Rodefeld was Bradley's lone entry in the singles main draw and her day ended with a 6-0, 6-0 loss in her opening match. The main draw consolation bracket is still to be announced.
