THE GAME
Bradley will try to get back into the thick of the Missouri Valley Conference race Wednesday night when the Braves host league-leading Missouri State at Shea Stadium ... A win would move the Braves to within three points of the Valley front-running Bears, as well as Drake ... Already with a loss to Drake working against Bradley, a loss to Missouri State would lock the Braves out of one of the top two seeds for next month's State Farm MVC Tournament ... Wednesday's game will conclude Bradley's season-long, 4-game home stand.

THE SERIES
Wednesday's game will be the 28th in the all-time series between Bradley and Missouri State and the Bears own an 18-5-4 advantage against the Braves ... Bradley is just 2-9-1 all-time at home against Missouri State and the two wins are the fewest home wins for the Braves against any current Valley member ... Bradley has lost four straight against Missouri State and is winless (0-5-1) in its last six games against the Bears, its longest winless streak in the history of the series.

THE COACHES
BRADLEY:  The 2007 Soccer America national Coach of the Year, Jim DeRose (Johnson State '89) is in his 16th year as a collegiate head coach, all at Bradley, and enters Wednesday's game with a 175-121-33 (.582) career record ... DeRose's 175 victories represent 77.4 percent of the total Bradley victories (226) in program history ... DeRose is 4-11-4 all-time against Missouri State, including a 1-6-1 home record against the Bears.

MISSOURI STATE:  Jon Leamy (Mainz '81) is in his 20th year as the head coach at Missouri State and enters Wednesday's game with a 201-143-36 (.576) career record ... Leamy owns a 15-5-4 all-time record against Bradley.

100TH SHEA STADIUM GAME
Wednesday's game be Bradley's 100th all-time game at Shea Stadium, where the Braves have called home since the start of the 2003 season ... Bradley enters Wednesday's game against the Bears with a 60-30-9 (.652) all-time record at Shea Stadium, including a 4-2-1 record in 2011.
