PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's golf team will make the squads first trip to the state of South Carolina since March 2004, wrapping up the fall schedule with the three-day, 54-hole Kiawah Island Intercollegiate Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the par-72 Turtle Point Golf Club.

The Braves will be playing in the month of November for what is believed to be the first time in program history and will be part of the largest tournament field the squad has faced since taking part in the 22-team Ball Invitational in April 1995.  The Kiawah Island Intercollegiate will be Bradley's first tournament outside of the state of Illinois this season.

Live scoring for all three rounds will be available at BradleyBraves.com with play scheduled to begin Sunday and Monday at 6:30 a.m. (CDT) with tee times.  Tuesday's final round will feature a 7:30 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start. 

Joining BU in the 21-team event will be Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton, in addition to Midwest foes Butler, IUPUI, Miami (Ohio), Minnesota and Wisconsin.  The field also features Boise State, Campbell, Charleston Southern, Connecticut, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Murray State, Presbyterian, Rhode Island, Stetson, Towson, USC Upstate, Western Kentucky and William & Mary.

Freshman Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) was the top finisher at the SIU Edwardsville Intercollegiate earlier this week, tying for 22nd.  Fellow freshman Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) leads the squad with a 76.1 stroke average and has carded all nine of his rounds in the 70's.  Trolia has been the top individual performer in two of three tournaments and has the team's only top-20 finish this fall.
