THE GAME
Bradley will begin defense of its 2010 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship as the No. 3 seed when the Braves face No. 6 seed SIU-Edwardsville in a first-round game Wednesday afternoon at Creighton University's Morrison Stadium ... The first-round game is a rematch of the 2010 championship game, which saw Bradley and SIUE battle to a scoreless draw, before the Braves claimed the title in a penalty kick shootout, 4-3 ... SIU Edwardsville owns a 5-4-1 lead in the all-time series against Bradley, but the Braves are 4-1-1 in the last six meetings, including a 2-1 overtime win Oct. 15 at Shea Stadium.
WAVE OF MOMENTUM
Bradley enters the 2011 State Farm MVC Men's Soccer Championship riding a season-long, 4-game winning streak ... The 4-game streak is the longest since the Braves won their final two games of the 2010 regular-season and their first two games in the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament ... Bradley has not won five straight games since a 7-game streak from Oct. 19-Nov. 11, 2005.
BRADLEY'S TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Bradley is making its 15th appearance in the State Farm MVC Men's Soccer Championship ... The Braves are 14-10-6 in their previous 14 MVC Tournaments, winning titles in 2007 and 2010 ... The Braves have advanced to at least the semifinal round in their last 12 MVC Tournament appearances ... Bradley has not lost a Valley postseason game prior to the semifinals since 1992, though the Braves did not qualify for the MVC Tournament from 1993-97 and again in 2009.

The 13 regular-season wins matches the third-best total in program history, trailing only the 14 regular-season wins by the 1998 and 2005 squads ...
