Sterling, Ill./Brown County) split a pair of free throws after a Bradley steal and made a shot in the paint after a BU offensive board on a missed free throw to put the Braves ahead for good at 55-52.
Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) followed a SIUE free throw with a pair of her own and Westcott had another tip-in hoop with 3:06 to play to give BU a six-point advantage (59-53).
Hill hit two more three-pointers in the next two minutes to help the Cougars pull back within two points (61-59) with one minute to play, but Yohn's baseline jumper with 46 seconds remaining made it a two-possession game (63-59) and the Cougars managed just one point in the closing seconds as the Braves held on for the 66-60 road win.
Bradley improved to 5-0 in true road games this and extended its road win streak to a program record seven consecutive games dating back to last season. The Braves, who are 5-1 in their last six outings, won three consecutive games for the first time this year.
