Peoria, Ill. - The Bradley women's tennis team opens its spring schedule with three road matches this weekend starting Friday with a 3 p.m. match at Saint Louis. The Braves continue a season-opening five-match road swing with matches at Southeast Missouri State (Saturday), and at SIU Edwardsville (Sunday).
Bradley battled injuries throughout the fall season and will be returning to the court for the first time since the ITA Regionals on October 23.
Saint Louis (1-0 overall) beat Oral Roberts last Friday, while Southeast Missouri State (0-2 overall) dropped matches to in-state foes UMKC and Missouri to open the spring. SIU Edwardsville is 1-2 on the spring, but is coming off a loss to Eastern Illinois last weekend.
Following this weekend's three road matches, the Braves wrap up the season-long five-match road swing next weekend with matches at Northern Illinois and at Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
