The Road to the Cup

For the second time in four years, the road to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, soccer's national championship event, will travel through Peoria when Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire hosts the defending MLS Cup champion Colorado Rapids in a qualifying game at Bradley University's Shea Stadium.  Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. March 16 at the Renaissance Coliseum Box Office, all TicketMaster outlets and online at www.BradleyBraves.com.

Directions to Shea Stadium
Shea Stadium is located less than one mile from the Bradley University campus at 1523 W. Nebraska Avenue in Peoria, Illinois.
 
From Chicago
- Take I-55 South to Bloomington-Normal.
- Take I-74 West through downtown Peoria.
- Exit I-74 West at University Street (Exit 91).
- At the top of the ramp, get into the left of the two right-turn lanes and briefly head north on University Street.
- Merge into the far left lane in preparation for a left turn at the first traffic light (Nebraska Avenue).
- Turn left onto Nebraska Avenue and the primary Shea Stadium parking area will be located one block ahead on the left.
 
From St. Louis
- Travel north on Interstate 55 to Interstate 155 in Lincoln, Ill.
- Take the left exit ramp onto Interstate 155 North and continue north to Interstate 74 in Morton, Illinois.
- Take the left exit onto I-74 West and continue west through downtown Peoria.
- Exit I-74 West at University Street (Exit 91).
- At the top of the ramp, get into the left of the two right-turn lanes and briefly head north on University Street.
- Merge into the far left lane in preparation for a left turn at the first traffic light (Nebraska Avenue).

From Indianapolis/Bloomington-Normal
- Take I-74 West through downtown Peoria.
- Exit I-74 West at University Street (Exit 91).

- Turn left onto Nebraska Avenue and the primary Shea Stadium parking area will be located one block ahead on the left.
