PEORIA, Ill. -- Friday's softball series opener between Bradley and Indiana State has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Peoria area.  The teams were scheduled to open a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series Friday at 1 p.m. at Laura Bradley Park.

The cancellation of Friday's game shortens the series to two games.  The Braves and Sycamores will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday at Laura Bradley Park.  Friday's contest is just the second game Bradley has had cancelled this spring.
