NORMAL, Ill. -- Day one of the 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Normal, Ill., area Friday. 

Originally scheduled for 36 holes of play Friday and one round of play Saturday, the tournament has been shortened to two rounds after today's postponement.  The teams will begin play Saturday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. 

The State Farm MVC Championship is being held at the par-71 Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Ill.  The Braves were picked fourth in the pre-championship coaches poll.  Live scoring for the tournament will be available at www.golfstat.com
