CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Bradley women's tennis team finished up the 2010-11 regular season with a 7-0 loss at Southern Illinois Saturday afternoon.  The Braves had just five players in the lineup and played shorthanded for the fifth consecutive match. 

Southern Illinois (11-12 overall, 3-4 MVC) took both doubles matches and swept singles play en route to the 7-0 victory.  Freshman Meredith McDonagh (Bryan, Ohio/ Bryan) helped highlight action for Bradley (3-19 overall, 0-7 MVC) with a 6-2, 6-2 loss at # 3 singles, while fellow freshman Sarah Rodefeld (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision at #2 singles.

The Braves return to action Friday, traveling to St. Louis, Mo., for the 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Championship at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
