TAMPA, Fla. - Bradley junior Jochen Graf (Double Oak, Texas/Faustina Academy) did a little bit of everything for the Ventura County Fusion and was named the USL Soccer Premier Development League Player of the Week Thursday as a result.

Graf was called into action in goal when Fusion starter Sam Hayden was injured in the 20th minute of their game against BYU on June 23. Despite never having played in goal before, Graf volunteered to take over between the pipes and conceded just once. He earned the victory when Daniel Steres scored late to give the Fusion a 2-1 victory.

Two days later, Graf got his first chance to start for the club after arriving earlier in the week from Bradley. The 21-year-old scored twice as the Fusion retained the top spot in the Southwest Division with a 4-1 win against the Ogden Outlaws.
