MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Bradley freshman Jessie Bertino advanced to the championship of the Augustus Singles Flight, highlighting the second day of action Saturday at the 2011 Gopher Invitational.

Bertino won both of her singles matches Sunday, knocking off Annie Mahoney of Gustavus Aldophus (6-2, 6-4) in the second round and rallying for a 3-set win versus Iowa State's Chelsea Loprinzi (4-6, 6-2, 10-8).  Bertino will play Milwaukee's Brittany Skemp for the Augustus Flight championship at noon Sunday.
