WATERLOO, Iowa - The Bradley women's tennis team will face competition from nine Midwestern rivals when the Braves participate in the 2011 UNI Invitational Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Byrnes Park.
The tournament will be contested in four singles brackets and two doubles brackets with nearly 180 matches scheduled for the three-day event with players from Bradley, Drake, Green Bay, Iowa State, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Northern Iowa and South Dakota.
Seven Braves will compete individually: Carly Miles and Sarah Rodefeld in the #1 Plantinum Singles bracket, Corey Mattson and Adele Henke in the #2 Gold bracket, Meredith McDonagh in the #3 Silver bracket and Jessie Bertino and Cassia Wojtalik in the #4 doubles bracket. Bradley also will field four doubles teams: Miles and Rodefeld will make up one tandem in the #1 Purple Doubles bracket, where they will be joined by Henke and Elizabeth Przystawski, while the two Bradley pairings in the #2 Gold bracket will include Bertino/Wojtalik and McDonagh/Mattson.
