LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- Freshman Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) is tied for third and the Bradley women's golf team is fifth in the team standings after the first of three rounds at the 35th annual Pat Bradley Invitational. 

Lemek matched her season-best with a par-72 at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club and is tied for third in the individual standings after Sunday's opening round.  The Braves shot a first-round 306 to close the day in fifth, three shots out of the top three and 10 shots back of first-place Florida International.

Junior Cassandra Marschall (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield/Wisconsin-Green Bay) is tied for 21st after an opening round 77 and sophomore Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) is one shot behind Marschall in a tie for 28th at 78. 

Freshman Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) enters Monday's second round tied for 35th following a first-round 79.  Sophomore Christie Lin (Calgary, Alberta/Sir John G Diefenbaker) rounded out the scoring for Bradley with an opening-round 82 and is tied for 53rd overall.

Florida International is atop the team leaderboard after shooting an eight-over par 296 and holds a one-shot lead on second-place Cincinnati (297).  Florida Gulf Coast and Boston College shot 303 to end the day tied for third and Bradley follows in fifth at 306.  The Braves are five shots better than Bethune-Cookman (sixth - 311). 

Daytona State College and Texas A&M Corpus Christi finished Sunday's action tied for seventh at 312, while Delaware and Jacksonville closed the first day tied for ninth (315).  Western Illinois is four shots back in 11th at 319 and Drake is 12th at 327.  Florida Atlantic is 13th in the standings at 333 with South Dakota rounding out the field in 14th at 350. 

Bradley continues play at the 35th annual Pat Bradley Invitational, with play scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. (CDT).
