LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- Sophomore Christie Lin (Calgary, Alberta/Sir John G Diefenbaker) turned in the second lowest round in school history with a three-under 69 to help the Bradley women's golf team shoot its lowest round since the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Championship and move into fourth in the team standings at the 35th annual Pat Bradley Invitational.

The Braves entered Monday's second round fifth in the team standings after an opening round 306 at the par-72 Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, but carded a 303 Monday for the squad's lowest round in a year and a half to move into fourth at 609.

BU is three shots behind third-place Cincinnati (606) and four back of second-place Boston College (605).  Tournament-host Florida International holds the top spot on the team leaderboard at 590 after a six-over par 294 Monday.

Lin's career-best, three-under par 69 was the second lowest round of the day and helped her move into a tie for 10th at 151.  The second-round 69 is the lowest individual round by a Bradley golfer since sophomore Thea Hedemann's (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) school record 68 in February and tied for the second-lowest round in BU history.

The first player in program history to card three consecutive rounds of 72 or better after Sunday's opening-round 72, freshman Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) followed up with a 74 Monday and is two shots behind individual leader Mary Dawson of Daytona State College.  Lemek is tied for third overall at 146.

Junior Cassandra Marschall (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield/Wisconsin-Green Bay) is six shots behind Lin in a tie for 33rd (157) after a second-round 80.  Freshman Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) also shot an 80 during Monday's action and is tied for 39th in the field at 159.  Hedemann rounded out the scoring for Bradley with an 82 and is tied for 44th overall at 160.

Bradley has a one-shot lead on fifth-place Daytona State College (610) and the Braves are five shots up on sixth-place Florida Gulf Coast (614).  Texas A&M Corpus Christi enters the final round in seventh (618), while Jacksonville (8th - 626), Delaware (9th - 631) and Bethune-Cookman (10th - 632) complete the top 10, respectively.

In state foe Western Illinois finished the day in 11th at 633, 18 shots better than Missouri Valley Conference opponent Drake (12th - 651).  Florida Atlantic follows in 13th at 667 and South Dakota rounds out the field in 14th (678).

Play at the 35th annual Pat Bradley Invitational concludes Tuesday with 18 holes of action, starting at 8 a.m. (CDT).
