PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley women's golf team will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., Monday and Tuesday for the Butler Fall Invitational at the par-70 Highland Country Club.

The Braves are returning to the Butler Fall Invitational for the first time since winning the 2010 event at the Eagle Creek Golf Club.  The 36-hole tournament will feature 7:30 a.m. (CDT) shotgun starts both days and includes Missouri Valley Conference rivals Evansville and Indiana State in the 11-team field.  Joining the Valley schools will be Bowling Green, Butler, Cleveland State, Eastern Illinois, IUPUI, Loyola-Chicago, Valparaiso and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Bradley is coming off a 16th-place finish at last week's Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo., where BU faced 11 teams ranked in the top 100 of the Golfweek.com final 2011-12 rankings.

Freshman Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) has led the Braves in all three fall tournaments and boasts a team-best 75.9 stroke average.  Lemek, who matched a season-best 74 in the final round at the Johnie Imes Invitational, has carded all nine of her rounds this fall in the 70's and her season stroke average is tied for second in the MVC this season.

Sophomore Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) has been one of BU's top two finishers in all three tournaments this fall and six of the last seven events dating back to last year.  She has fired seven of her nine rounds this fall in the 70's and is second on the squad with a 77.2 stroke average.

Following the Butler Fall Invitational, Bradley will conclude its fall schedule Oct. 21-23 at the Pat Bradley Invitational in Sarasota, Fla.
