FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Five Bradley players scored in double figures, paced by junior Catie O'Leary's (Janesville, Wis./Parker/Wisconsin) season-best 21 points, and the Braves made 35-of-46 free throw attempts to top Northern Arizona 95-83 Saturday afternoon in the consolation game of the NAU Thanksgiving Classic.

Bradley (3-3 overall) finished off a season-long, five-game road swing with a victory to conclude the road trip with a 3-2 record.  BU's 95 points were the most in a road game since a 101-86 win at Xavier on Nov. 30, 1996 and Bradley's 35 made free throws rank as the second-best total in school history behind 38 free throws against Marquette on Dec. 7, 1987.

The Braves led most of the game, but needed a late push to close out the contest after Northern Arizona (0-6 overall) pulled within five points (82-77) with 4:23 to play.

Sophomore Michelle Young (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury) started a 7-0 spurt with a layup and assisted an O'Leary three-pointer from the wing to open the run.  Senior Katie Yohn (Elgin, Ill./St. Edward) came up with a steal on the next possession and sophomore Shronda Butts (Des Moines, Iowa/East) pushed BU's advantage to 89-77 with 1:40 remaining with a driving layup.

Butts, who scored 17 of her season-high 20 points in the second half,  made four free throws in the closing 30 seconds and the Braves were 6-for-6 at the charity stripe in the final minute to seal the victory.

O'Leary earned a spot on the NAU Thanksgiving Classic all-tournament team after scoring a team-high 21 points and collecting eight rebounds.  She averaged 15.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in the two games to lead the Braves. Butts was 10-for-11 from the free throw line, collecting 20 points and four assists in just 19 minutes of action.

Joining the duo in double figures was junior Kelsey Budd (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie), who added 14 points and a game-high five assists.  Yohn came away with four steals to go with her 12 points and Young made 5-of-6 from the field to finish with 12 points off the bench.  The Bradley reserves combined for 26 points to outscore the Northern Arizona bench 26-14.

Amy Patton led Northern Arizona with 41 points, seven rebounds and 10 steals, marking the first 40-point effort against the Braves since Missouri State's Jackie Stiles in 1999-2000.  Tyler Stephens-Jenkins added 12 points for the Lumberjacks.

Bradley returns to action Wednesday, opening a two-game home stand with a 6 p.m. game against Northern Illinois at Renaissance Coliseum.
