PEORIA, Ill. -- Thursday's non-conference softball game between Bradley and Illinois has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Peoria area. The Braves and Illini were scheduled to play a 5 p.m. game at Laura Bradley Park. No makeup date has been announced.

Bradley (11-14 overall, 1-2 MVC) will play 11 of the next 14 games on the road beginning with a three-game Missouri Valley Conference road series at Drake Saturday and Sunday in Des Moines, Iowa.  The Braves took one-game of the weekend series against Creighton, while Drake (10-14 overall, 3-0) opened Valley play with a three-game road sweep of Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Braves are also slated to play a doubleheader at Western Illinois on March 28 before returning home for a three-game conference series against Evansville (March 31 & April 1) at Laura Bradley Park.
