BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Sophomore Cassandra Marschall (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield/Wisconsin-Green Bay) shot a season-low, two-over par 74 to tie for fifth and help the Bradley women's golf team finish in a tie for sixth in the team standings at the rain-shortened Indiana Invitational.

After first-round play was suspended early in Saturday's opening round and the 54-hole tournament was shortened to an 18 hole event due to inclement weather, Marschall turned in her lowest round of the year and finished one shot out of a four-way tie for first atop the individual leaderboard.  She tied for fifth overall with her two-over par 74 at the par-72 Indiana University Golf Course.

Freshman Christie Lin (Calgary, Alberta/Sir John G Diefenbaker) carded her team-leading 23rd round of the year in the 70's with a 77 Sunday and tied for 16th overall, while fellow freshman Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) fired a sub-80 round for the fourth time in the last five rounds with a 78.  Hedemann tied for 28th overall.

Senior Erin Gorman (Rockford, Ill./Boylan) and freshman Katarina Mangieri (Galesburg, Ill./Galesburg) both shot 85's Sunday to finish in a tie for 75th.

Bradley tied with Missouri Valley Conference rival Illinois State and Butler for sixth in the team standings with a score of 314.  The Braves were four shots behind fifth-place finisher IUPUI (310).  Tournament-host Indiana won the team title by seven shots with a score of 298, while Ball State followed in second at 305.  Eastern Michigan was third at 306, edging fourth-place Kansas State (307). 

Western Michigan, UMKC and Missouri State tied for ninth, two shots behind Bradley at 316 and Toledo was 12th in the 15-team tournament at 317.  Marshall (13th - 325), Evansville (14th - 328) and Valparaiso (15th - 337) rounded out the field.

Bradley returns to action April 22-24 at the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Championship in Terre Haute, Ind.
