PEORIA, Ill. - The nationally-ranked Wichita State women's tennis team remained unbeaten in Missouri Valley Conference play by earning a 7-0 sweep Sunday morning against Bradley at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
Ranked No. 62 nationally, the Shockers improved to 15-5 overall and 5-0 in The Valley with their 10th consecutive victory, while the Braves (3-16, 0-5) dropped their fifth consecutive match.
Bradley will step out of league play for their next match, visiting Western Illinois for a 3 p.m. dual Wednesday in Macomb. The Braves will close out the regular season schedule by hosting Evansville (1 p.m.) Saturday and Southern Illinois (10 a.m.) Sunday in league play at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
