MACOMB, Ill. - The Bradley women's tennis team dropped only six games the entire day en route to a dominating 6-0 non-conference dual win at Western Illinois Wednesday afternoon at the Brophy Courts.
Bradley (4-16) earned the day's first point by winning the first two doubles matches: Corey Mattson and Carly Miles by an 8-2 score at No. 1 with Meredith McDonagh and Sarah Rodefeld taming for an 8-0 sweep in the No. 2 spot.
None of Bradley's five singles players lost more than one game and the No. 6 singles match was not contested as the Leathernecks only had five available players Wednesday. Bradley's singles players were Elizabeth Przystawski (No. 1), Rodefeld (No. 2), Mattson (No. 3), Cassia Wojtalik (No. 4) and Miles (No. 5).
The Braves will close out the regular season schedule by hosting Evansville (1 p.m.) Saturday and Southern Illinois (10 a.m.) Sunday in Missouri Valley Conference action at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
