NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Bradley struggled to get its offense going Sunday and the Braves (4-2-2) saw their 5-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 1-0 loss at Belmont (3-4-1) in the championship game of the Mafiaoza's Invitational at E.S. Rose Park.

Bradley, which entered Sunday's action leading the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring and shots, managed only four shots and was blanked for the first time this season.

Benefitting from its 11-4 advantage in shots, the Bruins netted the game-winner on a penalty kick by Nico Olsak at 68:59.

With the lead in hand, Belmont turned to its defense to close out the win.  Though Bradley managed a flurry of three corner kicks in the 79th and 80th minutes, the Braves did not get a shot off in the game's final 32:52.

Bradley will try to rebound from its first loss in four games away from home this season when the Braves return to action Friday at San Jose State, the final game in a 5-game stretch away from home.  Bradley will return to Shea Stadium when it hosts Northern Kentucky Sept. 29 and nationally-ranked Northwestern Oct. 3.
