NORMAN, Okla. – Adele Henke and Ashley Thai won their first round doubles match but dropped the second round match to highlight the second day of action at the 2013 USTA/ITA Central Region Championship at the University of Oklahoma.

Henke and Thai began Friday action with an 8-7 (2) victory over the UMKC team of Argenal and Amasallem. The second round matchup was not as favorable to the Braves duo, as they lost 8-2 to Seaborne and McCulloch from Iowa.

The only other Braves team in action were Ariel Dechter and Sarah Rodefeld who lost their first round matchup to Lehmicke and Hanna from Nebraska.

Action continues tomorrow at the 2013 USTA/ITA Central Region Championship at the University of Oklahoma.
