DES MOINES, Iowa – Freshman Ariel Dechter split her two doubles matches Saturday, but her win against SIU Edwardsville's Mia Frogner was Bradley's only victory in 18 matches Saturday during the second day of the Drake Jamboree at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
Bradley lost six singles matches in straight sets against Iowa Saturday, as well as both singles matchups against Missouri Valley Conference rival Drake. The Braves were just 1-5 in singles action against SIUE with Decther picking up the lone win, a 6-2, 6-2 decision against Frogner.
The Braves were 0-4 in doubles action, dropping three matches against Drake and one to SIU Edwardsville.
The Drake Jamboree, which also includes Creighton, will conclude Sunday.
