Box Score COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri entered Sunday's game against Bradley among the national leaders in three-point field goals per game and the Tigers made 18-of-32 trey's in addition to shooting 63.5 percent from the field as they handed the Braves a 126-55 loss Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri missed its first shot of the game, but the Tigers hit their next 10 attempts and opened the game 13-of-15 from the field. Mizzou went on to start the game with a 33-5 run and never looked back.
Bradley (2-6 overall) trailed 11-5 four minutes into the contest, but Missouri (9-1 overall) answered with 22 consecutive points to pull away. The Tigers shot 68 percent in the first half and led 65-23 at the break.
Missouri entered the game averaging 10 three-point makes per game and connected on 5-of-13 in the first half. Morgan Stock was scoreless in the 20 minutes for the Tigers, but made 7-of-8 three-point attempts after halftime and helped Missouri made 13-of-19 three-point attempts in the second half.
Seven Missouri players scored in double figures, led by Bri Kulas' career-high 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Morgan Stock added 21 points and her twin sister Maddie Stock hit 4-of-8 three-point attempts en route to a 15-point game.
Senior Kelsey Budd (Prairie du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie) finished with a team-high 14 points and six rebounds to lead Bradley. Fellow senior Catie O'Leary (Janesville, Wis./Parker/Wisconsin) joined her in double figures with 11 points.
Missouri outrebounded Bradley 47-25 and Tigers shot a blistering 18-of-32 (56.3 percent) from three-point range. Bradley shot a season-low 29 percent from the field. The Tigers owned a 38-3 advantage in points off turnovers in the game and outscored the Braves 54-16 in the paint.
Bradley has time off for finals before returning to action at the Wright State Invitational in Dayton, Ohio, Dec. 20 & 21. The Braves play Lipscomb, Friday, Dec. 20 at 3:30 p.m. (CST) and will face either Gardner-Webb or tournament-host Wright State Saturday.
