CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. – Bradley finished second and freshman Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) was fourth in the individual standings to pace the Braves at the Cincinnati Spring Invitational after inclement weather forced the cancellation of Sunday's final round.

Lightning in the area early in Sunday's third and final round forced the teams off the course and the final round was officially cancelled early in the afternoon with Saturday's second round results standing as the final tournament results.

Bradley led the field after Friday's opening round 302 and slipped to second in the team standings after Saturday's round of 303 to finish at 605.  The second-place team finish matched the team's best finish of the year.

Walsh earned her first career top-10 finish, placing fourth in the field with a 36-hole score of 147, after firing a season-best 72 Saturday at the par-72 Plantation Inn Golf Resort.  Sophomore Christie Lin (Calgary, Alberta/Sir John G Diefenbaker) posted her second top-10 showing of the year, closing play three shots behind Walsh in ninth at 150.

Freshman Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) pushed her team-leading season total for rounds in the 70's to 21, which is tied for the ninth best season total in school history, with a second-round 76 Saturday.  Lemek tied for 10th at 151 for her team-best fifth top-10 finish of the year.  Her five top-10 finishes are tied for seventh in school history.

Fellow freshman Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) tied for 36th at 157 and sophomore Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) completed the team scoring for BU in a tie for 44th at 159.

Bradley finished in the top three for the third time this season and third time in the last five tournaments.  The Braves were one shot behind tournament-host and team champion Cincinnati, which shot a 300 Saturday to edge BU by one shot (604-605).  Florida Southern was third overall at 613.

The Bradley women's golf team will host the Bradley Invitational April 6 & 7 at WeaverRidge Golf Club.
