PEORIA, Ill. – The Bradley men's golf team hits the halfway point of its spring schedule this weekend, traveling to Macomb, Ill., for the Beu Mussatto Invitational Friday and Saturday at the par-72 Harry Mussatto Golf Course.

The Braves spent Spring Break in Florida after facing Yale in a dual in Seamstrong, Fla., back on March 18 and will be playing the team's third event of the spring this weekend in Macomb, Ill.   Bradley will take part in the Beu Mussatto Invitational for the 10th time in the last 12 seasons and BU will be in a spring tournament in Macomb, Ill., for the 32nd time in the last 40 seasons.

The Beu Mussatto is the first of three consecutive tournaments in the state of Illinois for the Braves, who will host the Bradley Invitational April 6 & 7 at WeaverRidge Golf Club in Peoria, Ill.

Play begins Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. with tee times and will include two rounds of play.  Saturday's final round will also start at 7:30 a.m. with tee times off holes #1 and #10.  Joining Bradley and tournament-host Western Illinois is Missouri Valley Conference foe Creighton, along with in-state opponents Chicago State and Lewis.  The 15-team field also includes IUPUI, Nebraska-Omaha, North Dakota State, Oakland, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Valparaiso in addition to Indian Hills and St. Ambrose.

Sophomore Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) was Bradley's top finisher at last year's Beu Mussatto Invitational, tying for 17th with a 54-hole score of 223 last spring.  He enters the event with the top season stroke average on the squad at 76.3 per round.

Junior Daniel Young (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) has also had previous success in Macomb, Ill., finishing in the top 25 in both previous appearances in the Beu Mussatto Invitational.  He owns a 75.4 career stroke average at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course and tied for 16th in the event as a freshman in 2011.

Bradley has just three tournaments on the schedule before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, which will be held April 29 & 30 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
