PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley softball team was scheduled to conclude a seven-game Missouri Valley Conference road swing with a doubleheader at Northern Iowa Wednesday afternoon in Cedar Falls, Iowa, but the threat of inclement weather has forced changes in the series schedule.
The squads were slated to play a 2 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and a single game at Laura Bradley Park on Tuesday, April 23. Inclement weather has forced the teams to move this week's doubleheader to next week, with Bradley and Northern Iowa now playing a 2 p.m. doubleheader on Tuesday, April 23 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The final game of the series will be played Tuesday, April 30 at Laura Bradley Park with a 3 p.m. first pitch.
Bradley will return to action this weekend, opening a three-game series against Drake with a noon doubleheader Saturday at Laura Bradley Park. The Braves and Bulldogs wrap up the series Sunday with a single game at noon.
