PEORIA, Ill. – Senior Kennedy Scott won her final match on the David Markin Tennis Courts, but her straight-sets win at No. 6 singles was not enough to lift Bradley (9-16, 0-7 MVC) to a victory Sunday as Northern Iowa (8-10, 2-5 MVC) earned a 5-2 win in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Playing the final match of the day, Scott rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 victory.  Sophomore Cassia Wojtalik earned Bradley's first point of the match by taking a 6-2, 6-0 decision at No. 5 singles,  win that pulled the Braves to within 2-1.

After Jessica King earned a 6-3, 6-2 win against Elizabeth Przystawski at No. 4 singles, though, UNI got the deciding fourth point when Krissy Lankelma finished off a 6-1, 6-0 win against Sarah Rodefeld in the No. 2 match.

The Braves will be the No. 8 seed for next week's Missouri Valley Conference Tennis Championships, which get underway Friday at Wichita State's Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
