PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior pitcher Mackenzie Camp (Mapleton, Ill./Limestone) has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after picking up a victory in the final game of her collegiate career.

Camp posted a 1-0 record with a 0.68 ERA in three appearances last week and picked up the victory in her lone start.  She gave up two hits and one run in 1.2 innings out of the bullpen against Northern Iowa last Tuesday.  She also appeared in both games of Sunday's doubleheader against Missouri State, giving up one unearned run in 8.2 innings against the Bears.  Camp tossed 1.2 innings of scoreless relief and struck out four of the seven hitters she faced in Sunday's first game.  She followed it up with a four-hit complete game victory in the final game of the year.  A family and consumer science major, Camp owns a 3.19 cumulative grade point average. 
 
Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.
