Barnett Selected for NSCAA Program

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bradley Soccer assistant coach Brian Barnett, who is preparing for his fifth season on the Braves staff, has been selected from a pool of more than 350 applicants for participation in the inaugural NSCAA 30-Under-30 program.

The 30-Under-30 program is a year-long education and mentorship program for select men and women who have made soccer coaching their career of choice. The 15 males and 15 females selected from the applicant pool, all younger than 30, will receive:

  • Complimentary registration to the NSCAA Convention and one of two NSCAA educational events (Summer Symposium or Advanced Coaching Academy course)
  • A travel and lodging scholarship up to $1,500 to attend the aforementioned NSCAA educational opportunities
  • Access to a mentor dedicated to helping you grow as a coach
  • Recognition on NSCAA.com and at the upcoming convention

In order to be considered for the program, candidates must be current NSCAA members with 1-3 years of previous coaching experience. During the course of the 30-Under-30 program, the participants will be involved in at least two conference calls hosted by the NSCAA, contribute at least one educational or training article for use by the NSCAA and its sponsors, write a final review that provides recommendations for the future of the program, attend the NSCAA Convention and either the Summer Symposium or Advanced Coaching Academy and participate in informational focus groups at the Convention and/or Summer Symposium.
