Bradley Soccer Promotions Announced

PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Soccer fans will experience a full menu of promotional activities during the 2013 home season, including a pair of postgame fireworks shows, a World Cup celebration and a number of group outing opportunities.

Each of Bradley's eight home games during the 2013 regular season will feature a promotion, including six games with targeted group events. Individual tickets for Bradley Soccer regular-season home games are $6 for adults, $3 for children 14 and under and free for Bradley University students, faculty and staff, as well as active members of the military and their immediate families, all presenting valid identification at the Shea Stadium ticket windows. Discounted ticket prices - $3 for adults and $1 for children – are available for groups of at least 15 by completing and returning a Bradley Soccer/Volleyball Group Sales Form, available for download at BradleyBraves.com, or by contacting Joe Dolan (309-253-8136).

Aug. 30 vs. New Hampshire (7 p.m.) – Back 2 School/Camper Reunion Night
First 500 kids in eighth grade and younger receive a Bradley window cling. Little Braves Club members will receive a private tour of Shea Stadium and will have the first opportunity to pick up their membership t-shirts. Former Central Illinois Soccer Academy campers will be invited to join the Braves on the field during the national anthem by contacting, in advance, Brooke Buzard at busportsmarketing@bradley.edu or (309) 677-4659.

 


Sept. 1 vs. Massachusetts (12:30 p.m.) – Park District Soccer/Facebook Appreciation Day
Exclusive group opportunities for area Park District Soccer programs. Return a group ticket form to reserve a spot for your team. Facebook followers who present their smartphones at the ticket window or print off the page showing they “like” the Bradley Braves Facebook page will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the group rate.

 


Sept. 28 vs. Cal State Northridge (7 p.m.) – World Cup Night/President's Night Out/Soccer Alumni Weekend
Why wait until 2014 to celebrate the World Cup? Bradley brings the pageantry of the World Cup to Peoria with a youth World Cup Walk flag presentation, Braves Fun Zone poster-making station, face painting and World Cup themed promotions. Youth teams interested in participating should submit a group ticket form to reserve a spot.

Bradley University President Joanne Glasser will host Bradley's freshman class for a night at the stadium during President's Night Out. Bradley Soccer will host its annual alumni weekend, recognizing former players from the program.

Post-game fireworks will be presented by Avanti's.

 


Oct. 7 vs. Western Illinois (7 p.m.) – Faith and Family Fun Night
Peoria area churches and teams who participate in the Peoria Parochial Soccer Association (PPSA) are invited to utilize our group ticket opportunities for a night of family fun at Shea Stadium. Halftime will feature a performance by a contemporary Christian artist.

 


Oct. 15 vs. Belmont (4 p.m.) – Employee Appreciation Day
Join Bradley Soccer for a day of “Happy Hour” themed promotions. Reserve a great corporate outing opportunity for your business by completing a group ticket form.

 


Oct. 19 vs. Loyola Chicago (7 p.m.) – Homecoming
Free Bradley scarves for the first 500 fans. The 2013 Bradley Homecoming Court will be crowned at halftime. Postgame fireworks.

 


Oct. 23 vs. SIU Edwardsville (7 p.m.) – High School/Middle School Night and Pink Game
Coach Jim DeRose will conduct a pre-game “chalk talk" for all interested fans. All fans who wear pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the group rate. Breast cancer survivors will receive free admission. Teams interested in attending should reserve their spot by submitting a group ticket form.

 


Nov. 2 vs. Missouri State (6 p.m.) – Salute to Service Night and Senior Night
Bradley Soccer would like to recognize all members of our nation's military and first responders in the greater Peoria area. Members of the military receive free admission to all Bradley soccer games, but this offer also will be extended to first responders (police, fire and EMS) who present their I.D. at the ticket window. Their family members also will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the group rate.

Area non-for-profit organizations and Bradley University Greek organizations are invited to set up a display on the concourse during the game to highlight their philanthropic efforts. To reserve a spot contact Brooke Buzard at BUsportmarketing@bradley.edu or by phone at (309) 677-4659.

Bradley soccer seniors also will be recognized for their contributions to the program during their last regular-season home game as a Brave.
