ST. LOUIS - Bradley junior forward Jason Lesch (Vernon Hills, Ill./Vernon Hills H.S.) is the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office Monday afternoon.
Lesch played a role in three of Bradley's four goals during the week, including both game-winners. He started the week by assisting both of Bradley's first two goals in Tuesday's 3-0 win against Eastern Illinois. Lesch capped the week by flicking home the game's only tally in the 89th minute, lifting the Braves to a 1-0 win against Central Arkansas Saturday night. His fourth goal of the season crossed the line at 88:39 for his second game-winner of the season. Lesch is now second on the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists.
The Braves return to action Monday night with a 7 p.m. non-conference clash against Omaha.
