Non-Conference Finale
• Bradley will close out its 2014 regular-season non-conference schedule by paying a Halloween night visit to Rutgers for the first-ever men's soccer meeting between the two schools.
• Friday's game will serve as a home coming for 19th year Bradley head coach Jim DeRose, who is a native of Cinnaminson, N.J., a Philadelphia suburb located 56 miles southwest of the Rutgers campus in Piscataway.
• A win Friday at Rutgers will secure a winning non-conference record by the Braves for a fourth consecutive year.
Series Notes | First Meeting
• Although Bradley and Rutgers are meeting for the first time ever in men's soccer, Friday's matchup gives Bradley a Big 10 Conference opponent for the third consecutive year.
• Including a pair of 3-2, overtime road wins at Northwestern last year, Bradley is 4-1-1 in its last six games against the current Big 10 Conference membership, dating back to its 2007 NCAA quarterfinals run that included a shootout victory at Indiana in the second round, a 3-2 double-overtime victory at Maryland in the third round and a 4-0 loss at Ohio State in the Elite Eight.
• Fifth year Rutgers head coach Dan Donigan is facing Bradley for a third time in his career, having posted a 2-0-0 record against the Braves while at Saint Louis with shutout wins in 2003 (1-0) and 2007 (2-0).
