Return to Shea
With the program's longest road swing since 1989 in the rearview mirror, Bradley will open a five-game home stand by hosting Denver in a rare Monday night game at Shea Stadium ... Bradley went 2-4-0 during the six games played away from Shea Stadium since its last home game Sept. 4 versus Xavier ... The six-game trip to California, Indiana, Chicago and Edwardsville was Bradley's longest since at 10-game trek across the Midwest in 1989.
Pregame Softball Ring Ceremony
Prior to Monday night's kickoff, members of the 2014 Bradley Softball team will be presented their MVC Tournament championship rings ... The rings will be presented by former Braves Ashley (Birdsong) Good and Miriam Wegmann, stars of Bradley's first MVC championship squad in 2009 ... Good also is the wife of former Bradley Soccer star Preston Good.
