MAINEVILLE, Ohio -- The Bradley women's golf team climbed into a tie for 11th just over halfway through the final round of the Bearcat Classic Tuesday, but heavy rain in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area forced the teams off the course.  With the course later deemed unplayable, final results for the Bearcat Classic reverted to Monday's only round of play with the Braves finishing 14th in the rain-shortened event.

Bradley individuals had between five and eight holes remaining when the second round was suspended at the par-72 TPC River's Bend.  Originally scheduled to be a 54-hole tournament, inclement weather delayed the start of Monday's play and the teams played just one round yesterday.

Junior Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) tied for 16th overall to pace the Braves with a 77 and earned her 19th consecutive top-20 finish.

After a first round 82, junior Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) was a team-best four-over par through 13 holes in Tuesday's round when play was suspended.  Roadley finished in a tie for 56th overall, five shots behind Lemek at 82.

Freshman Ally Scaccia (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) ended up one shot back of Roadley in a tie for 63rd (83), while fellow freshman Abby Wellens (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) carded an 85 Monday and was 71st in the standings.

Junior Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) rounded out the team scoring for Bradley in 87th overall with an 89 in Monday's round.

Bradley was 15-over par in Tuesday's round and +54 for the tournament to move into a tie with Ohio for 11th before the rains washed away the second round.  The Braves ended up 14th in the standings at 327 after the scores reverted back to Monday's opening round.

Tournament-host Cincinnati won the abbreviated event by one shot with a first-round 307 to edge second-place Morehead State (308).  Seven shots separated the top 10 teams in the field.  The Braves were four back of 13th-place Dayton (323) and one shot ahead of 15th-place Southern Miss (328).

The Bradley women's golf team closes out the 2014 Fall schedule Nov. 2-4 at the Pat Bradley Invitational in Sarasota, Fla.
