PEORIA, Ill. - Six members of the Bradley Soccer team earned Missouri Valley Conference postseason awards Thursday night during the league's annual championship banquet at WeaverRidge Golf Course.

Senior forward Cody Lofgren, junior defender Grant Bell and sophomore forward Christian Okeke all earned spots on the All-MVC Second Team, while junior midfielder Andrew Brown and junior forward Jason Lesch earned honorable mention recognition and defender Jacob Taylor was selected for the MVC All-Freshman Team.

Lofgren ranks second in The Valley with 17 points and six goals, while his five assists are tied for third. Okeke registered his league-leading eighth assist of the season in Wednesday's 1-0 win against Evansville in the MVC Tournament quarterfinals and Bell is Bradley's third-leading scorer with 13 points on four goals and five assists.

Lesch now ranks second for the Braves with 14 points and five goals and he netted his third game-winner of the season in Wednesday's 1-0 win against Evansville. Brown has appeared in all 61 games Bradley has played the last three seasons and he is tied for fifth on the team with nine points on three goals and three assists this season.

A starting defender in all 18 regular-season games this season, Taylor also boasts nine points on three goals and three assists and has excelled as Bradley's designated "long thrower."

The No. 6 seed in the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship, Bradley (9-10-0) will take on No. 2 seed SIU Edwardsville (5-8-4) in Friday's second semifinal game, scheduled for 6 p.m., at Shea Stadium. Friday's first semifinal at 3 o'clock will match No. 5 seed Loyola Chicago (8-5-5) against regular-season league champion Missouri State (8-4-4).
