PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's golf team will spend spring break in Florida for the fourth consecutive year, taking on Jacksonville Thursday in a dual match at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

The teams will play two rounds Thursday at the par-72, 6,825-yard Marsh Landing Country Club beginning at 8:30 a.m. (CDT) as the Braves return to Jacksonville, Fla., area for the second consecutive week after taking seventh at last week's Benbow Invitational at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Course. 

Thursday's stroke play dual will feature six players from each squad.  Last season, Bradley played a dual against Yale in Streamsong, Fla. 

Bradley has improved its team score each round this spring, capping off the Benbow Invitational with a 305.  Junior Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) has finished in the top 20 in five of six tournaments this season and owns a streak of 24 consecutive rounds in the 70's.  He needs two more sub-80 rounds to move into the top 15 in school history in career rounds in the 70's. 

Senior Kyle Gunther (Dunlap, Ill./Peoria Christian) tied for 31st at the Benbow Invitational and owns a 77.25 stroke average over his last four rounds, while junior Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) is second on the squad this year with a 75.47 stroke average and recently broke into Bradley's career top 25 for sub-80 rounds.

Senior Daniel Young (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) is coming off his lowest round of the spring (75) and is closing in on the top 10 in school history in career rounds in the 70's, needing just two sub-80 rounds to move into a tie with Steve Douse (1982-86) with 69.

Following the trip to Florida, the Braves will mark the halfway point of the spring schedule March 31 & April 1 at the Beu Mussatto Invitational in Macomb, Ill.
