RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Sophomore Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) tied for fifth to post her seventh consecutive top-10 finish and the Bradley women's golf team shot 315 for the third straight round to finish 13th in the field at the 12th annual Rio Verde Invitational Sunday.

Lemek's one-over 72 at the Rio Verde Country Club's par-71 Quail Run Golf Course was tied for the third lowest round of the day and moved her into a tie for fifth in the final individual standings at 223.  She finished four shots behind individual medalist Tara Green of Montana and just one shot out of the top three.

Lemek has finished in the top 10 of all six tournaments this season, one short of a school season record seven top-10 finishes she tied last year, and has finished among the top 10 in seven consecutive tournaments dating back to last year.

Sophomore Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) finished out play with a 79 to tie for 54th at 239, while fellow sophomore Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) was one shot back of Walsh in a tie for 57th at 240 after firing a third-round 80 Sunday.

Freshman Paige Jordan (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles East) and junior Katarina Mangieri (Galesburg, Ill./Galesburg) both tied for 84th in the field at 251.  Jordan finished the tournament with a final round 84, while Mangieri shot 86 on the final day.

Xavier claimed the team title with a 54-hole score of 900 to top second-place Montana (905) by five strokes.  Toledo was third at 914 and Wichita State followed in fourth at 917.  Tournament host Western Michigan and Northern Arizona tied for fifth at 921 to edge out seventh-place finisher Eastern Michigan (922).  Ball State was eighth overall (924) with Bowling Green (9th – 926) and Northern Illinois (10th – 927) completing the top 10.

Ohio was close behind in 11th at 929 and Texas A&M Corpus Christi was five shots better than the Braves in 12th (940).  Bradley shot 315 for the third consecutive day to close out the tournament in 13th (945).  Akron was eight shots back of the Braves in 14th (953) and UMKC was 10 shots behind in 15th (955).  Missouri State finished Sunday in 16th (958) followed by Arkansas-Little Rock (17th – 960) and Illinois State (18th – 965) to round out the field.

Bradley returns to action March 21-23 at the Plantation Inn Intercollegiate in Crystal River, Fla.
